These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of ShaadiGram, available at myshaadigram.com and through our mobile apps (together, the "Service"). The Service is operated by Codifta Labs Inc, a corporation incorporated in the State of Wyoming, United States of America ("Codifta Labs", "we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What ShaadiGram is for

ShaadiGram is a matrimonial service. It exists to help adults, and families acting with their consent, find a life partner for marriage. It is not a casual dating, escort or social networking service, and it must not be used for any purpose other than seeking a marriage partner.

2. Who may use the Service

• You must be at least 18 years old and of legal marriageable age in the country where you live. In India this is 21 for men and 18 for women.
• You must be legally able to marry: unmarried, divorced, widowed, or otherwise legally free to marry under the law that applies to you.
• You must not be prohibited from using the Service by law, or have been previously removed from it by us.
• If you create a profile on behalf of a son, daughter, sibling, relative or friend, you confirm that they are eligible, that they have consented to the profile being created, and that they have agreed to these Terms. That person remains responsible for the profile.

3. Your declaration

By registering you declare that: you are joining with a genuine intention to marry; the information you provide (including name, age, marital status, religion, community, education, profession, income and photographs) is true, accurate and your own; and you will keep it up to date. Providing false information, impersonating another person or hiding your marital status is a breach of these Terms and may also be a criminal offence.

4. Your account

• One person may hold only one account. Keep your password and verification codes confidential; you are responsible for activity on your account.
• Tell us immediately at [email protected] if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
• You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account.

5. Rules of conduct

You must not, and must not attempt to:

• create a fake, misleading or duplicate profile, or use photographs of anyone other than yourself (or the person the profile is for);
• harass, threaten, stalk, abuse, defame or intimidate any member, or send sexually explicit, obscene, hateful or discriminatory content;
• ask any member for money, gifts, loans, investments or financial details, or promote any scheme, business, product or service;
• demand, offer or discuss dowry, which is prohibited by law in India;
• share another member's photographs, contact details or messages outside the Service without their consent;
• contact a member who has blocked you or declined your interest, or continue contact after being asked to stop;
• use the Service for any unlawful purpose, including fraud, trafficking, forced marriage or child marriage;
• scrape, copy, harvest or collect member data by automated means, or interfere with the security or operation of the Service;
• post content that infringes anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights.

We may review reported content and accounts and may remove content, restrict features, suspend or permanently remove any account that we reasonably believe breaches these Terms, without refund where the breach is serious. We cooperate with law-enforcement authorities where required by law.

6. Content you post

You keep ownership of the photographs, text and other content you post. You give Codifta Labs a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, resize and transmit that content only to operate and improve the Service and to show your profile to other members according to your privacy settings. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies we must keep by law or that remain for a limited period in backups.

You are responsible for your content. You confirm you have the right to post it and that it does not break these Terms or the law.

7. Verification and safety

We may verify some information (for example an email address, phone number or a verification photo) and show a verification badge. We do not run background checks on members and cannot guarantee the identity, intentions, marital status, background or conduct of any member. Verification badges do not mean we endorse a member. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other members.

Please take care: meet for the first time in a public place, tell family or friends about your plans, independently verify important facts before making any commitment, and never send money to someone you have met online. Report suspicious profiles using the report option on the profile or by writing to [email protected].

8. Premium membership and payments

Basic use of ShaadiGram is free. Optional paid features include Premium memberships (Gold and Platinum), profile boosts and credits. The features, price, currency and billing period of each plan are shown on the Premium page before you pay. Prices may include or exclude applicable taxes, as shown at checkout.

• Payment. Website payments are processed by Stripe. Purchases inside our iOS or Android apps are processed by Apple or Google and are also subject to their terms. We do not receive or store your full card details.
• Automatic renewal. Weekly, monthly and yearly plans renew automatically at the end of each period at the then-current price, and you authorise us (or Apple/Google) to charge you, until you cancel. We will tell you in advance of any price change, and you may cancel before it takes effect.
• Lifetime plans are a single payment for the life of the Service and of your account, and do not renew.
• Cancelling. You can cancel at any time from Settings → Payments on the website, or from your Apple or Google account settings for app purchases. Cancellation stops future renewals; your Premium features continue until the end of the period you have already paid for.
• Credits and boosts are a licence to use features of the Service, have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and expire if your account is closed.

9. Refund policy

• 48-hour refund window. If you are not satisfied with a website Premium purchase, write to [email protected] within 48 hours of the payment and we will refund it in full to the original payment method, provided the account has not been used in breach of these Terms.
• After 48 hours, payments are non-refundable and we do not give partial refunds for unused time, except where the law requires or where we charged you in error (for example a duplicate or unauthorised charge), which we will always correct.
• Refunds for purchases made through Apple or Google are decided by them under their policies; please request them from Apple or Google.
• Approved refunds are issued within 7 working days; your bank may take longer to show the credit.
• If we close your account for a serious breach of these Terms, you are not entitled to a refund for the remaining period.

10. Referral programme

Where we offer a referral or affiliate programme, rewards are earned only for genuine new members you invite, under the conditions shown in your account. Self-referrals, fake accounts and spam invitations are not allowed and any rewards obtained that way will be cancelled.

11. Our intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, logos and the ShaadiGram name, belongs to Codifta Labs or its licensors. You may use it only as these Terms allow. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer or create derivative works from it.

12. Availability and changes to the Service

We work to keep the Service available and secure, but it is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis and may occasionally be interrupted for maintenance or reasons outside our control. We may change, add or remove features. If we discontinue a paid feature you have paid for in advance, we will offer a pro-rata refund for the unused period.

13. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law: we make no promise that you will find a partner or that any member is who they say they are; we are not responsible for the conduct of any member, on or off the Service; and Codifta Labs will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD 100.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your rights as a consumer under the mandatory laws of the country where you live.

14. Indemnity

You agree to compensate Codifta Labs for any loss, claim or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your content, or your conduct towards other members, except to the extent caused by us.

15. Ending your use of the Service

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms, is inactive for an extended period, or where we are required to by law. Sections 6 (to the extent needed), 11, 13, 14 and 17 continue to apply after your account ends.

16. Grievance Officer

In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it, complaints about content, member conduct, or the processing of your personal data may be sent to our Grievance Officer:

We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and resolve them within 15 days of receipt. Requests to remove content that exposes a person's private area, shows them in full or partial nudity or a sexual act, or is an impersonation, are acted on within 24 hours.

17. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming and the federal laws of the United States that apply there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any concern informally. Nothing in these Terms takes away the protection of mandatory consumer, data-protection or other laws of the country where you live, or your right to bring a claim before the courts or consumer forums of that country where its law allows.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will notify you by email or on the Service at least 15 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that date means you accept the updated Terms; if you do not, you may delete your account.
